Dr Adrian Tan BDS (Otago) PRACTICE PRINCIPAL
Hello there! My name is Adrian, and I graduated from the University of Otago’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1994. Wow, it sounds longer ago when said like that! Over the past 16 years, I have helped hundreds of patients retain and regain their confidence by giving them their smiles back. My special focus is on building patient confidence (especially the more nervous ones out there), and I have built an extensive and loyal patient base. Many of my patients have been with me for 15 or more years, and it’s very gratifying to see a whole family “grow up” under my care.
Much of my work consists of routine general dental care, but I pay special attention to reconstructive, implant and orthodontic work. I have recently completed a two year private institution program in orthodontics, and treat both adults and children for their orthodontic problems. My special focus is the resumption of function whilst improving aesthetics; without sacrificing practicality and cost efficacy.
I am a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, New Zealand Society for Anaesthesia in Dentistry, the New Zealand Association for Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Association for Orthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
